And here is just a random SUV crossing the trail to drive to the beach at Oakwood. This has really gotten out of hand and the reforms need to start inside @ChicagoParks #bikechi #chilft pic.twitter.com/5Wt2UFHrP5— Eric Allix Rogers (@EricAllixRogers) June 1, 2023
Here is a @ChicagoParks work truck jamming the trail pinch point south of McCormick Place (though unlike the security car before, this driver was being slow and cautious ..but this truck is too big to be on a trail). #bikechi #chilft pic.twitter.com/EVGTCrfT29— Eric Allix Rogers (@EricAllixRogers) June 1, 2023
We can't talk about cars on the lake front trail without acknowledging that @ChicagoParks is a major part of the problem. Here I am this morning being chased at 15mph by park security, who then passed on the pedestrian trail so fast it left a cloud of dust. #bikechi #chilft pic.twitter.com/4frwBIepaI— Eric Allix Rogers (@EricAllixRogers) June 1, 2023
